Death, crime and forensic investigation go hand in hand because forensic science is the practice of discovering how a person died. This is used in crime ,investigation where a death occurs in order to gather possible evidence. In many cases this practice helps to point in the direction of not only how and why a person died, but there might be tale-tell clues that are left behind that might identify the killer.
Many criminal investigations revolve around answering the who, what, when, where, and how a crime occurred. As a part of our practice, we can assist in interviewing witnesses, victims, and suspects to answer many of these questions.
We also review investigative crime reports and conduct interviews with investigators who conduct the initial investigation in order to be as
thorough as possible.
Another ability we have is that of conducting forensic investigations. Criminal investigations and forensic investigations go hand in hand. This is because forensic science is the practice of searching, locating, preserving, and documenting clues to solving any crime.
These are the techniques used in crime scene investigation in order to gather possible evidence. In many cases this practice helps to point in the direction of not only how and why a crime occurred, but there might be tale-tell clues that are left behind that might identify the suspect(s).
Our practice has the ability to conduct crime scene investigations, crime scene reconstruction, and review of forensic evidence and reports. If needed our investigators can be available to respond to a scene after hours or at anytime when requested or retained to review or investigate an active crime scene.
Many cases we commonly investigate have been worked by a public law enforcement agency prior to our agency getting involved. This doesn't mean we still can't assist. Our agency has experts trained to review, analyze, and interpret the findings of other agencies and experts to verify that a proper and thorough investigation was performed.
We have worked the following type of criminal cases and provided forensic investigations and testimony for the same: death penalty (homicide cases),
attempted murder, rape and/or sexual assault, armed robbery, burglary, theft, DUI and DWI.
Many of the methods we use for our criminal investigations and forensic investigations are also employed in our arson, wrongful death, and vehicle collision investigations.
There is currently a great need for accomplished forensic experts, as crime is expanding at exponential rates, and the sophistication of the criminals is becoming epidemic. Our firm endeavors to bring the latest techniques and processes to bear in each case we develop.
